Korean Marriage Ceremony

Last week we went to attend my next door labmate's marriage ceremony. It was held in near daecheon (west coast of south korea and also famous for MUD festival).we started in the morning, as you know korean wedding ceremony is usually held in the afternoon. we drive on the way to west coast to reach Daecheon. It was nice scenery in the west coast.

After we reached, as like Indians, koreans also straight away go to the Dining area. There were all the meat (Beef, chickenm pork and seafood) spread around the tabel. Dont forget, there was a alcohol also. Koreans used to drink a famous korean drink Soju (20%) during all kinds of party. Since we had an another appoinment, we tried just a beer.

After lunch, we met the Bride and Groom and they told that marriage ceremony will start after an hour. Then we just came out and had a chit chat.
After an hour, so many people came for ceremony. The hall was fully crowded. Then the ceremony starts. Already i had so many experience of attending Korean Wedding Ceremony. So, its not a different one. i took some pics of the ceremony.

The main feature is i am the only foreigner in that wedding ceremony. Moreover the area is kind of village. So, most of the people watching me and someone came and touch my skin. (hehe... i did the same when i come to korea).

Once the marriage ceremony got over then we packed everything and changed our clothes to go Daecheon beach. That day the temperature was -8 degrees. I will write down about the beach in the next post.

Kind Regards
Kesavan.
